Is it ever mentioned how Watson became a millionaire? 

Are there any books in which Kristy's dad makes an appearance? I sort of vaguely remember reading about him once... or am I making this up in my head? lol. Thanks for any help in advance!

I just started rereading SS7, Baby-sitters at Shadow Lake, which has always been, I guess, my least-favorite Super Special. Or maybe it's just the least-memorable as far as I'm concerned; I almost never think of it at all when I'm thinking about the BSC books. The only members of Watson's family of his generation and up that I can think of are Ben Brewer (ha ha) and the aunt and uncle who give him the Shadow Lake cabin. Are any others -- parents, siblings, cousins -- mentioned at all in the series? Did anyone else get the impression that Watson was a lot older than Karen and Andrew's mom?  He had a heart attack later in the series and Elizabeth's oldest child is 17 and Watson and his first wife's oldest is 7 (I am assuming that Watson is older than Elizabeth).  What do you think?
